We went to Colorado to play some shows and I gave somebody my wife (a guitar) to perform with. After the set, he gave her back to me with a big ol' crack in the front.
Went to Minneapolis after that, where I took it to a luthier. He fixed her up good, real nice and cheap, and while he was giving me stories about everything, he played a few chords and my eyes shot to the neck where his fingers were. Those are the first couple chords to this song.
I went straight home, found them, and let them take me.
This song took over a year to come through. Many roads and stories are in this wordless story. It's a creation I care deeply for, even if it's not perfect ;)
